Terms of Service

Welcome to Somewhere for Two. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Somewhere for Two, a sole proprietorship based in North Carolina, United States ("we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of our website and the personalized astrocartography maps and related digital products we offer (together, the "Service"). By using the Service or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Somewhere for Two Is

Somewhere for Two creates personalized, keepsake astrocartography maps for couples. Using the birth details you provide, we produce a beautifully designed map highlighting locations associated with each partner's astrological lines. Our products are created for inspiration, entertainment, and delight.

Astrocartography is a symbolic and interpretive craft. Our maps are not astrological counseling, financial advice, relocation advice, travel advice, medical or mental-health advice, or legal advice, and they are not predictions. Nothing we provide is a guarantee about your life, relationship, safety, finances, or future, and nothing should be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice. The specific places shown in your map are determined solely by the birth details you provide and the underlying astrocartography calculations. They are not chosen to order, and we cannot guarantee that any particular place, city, region, or country will or will not appear in your map. We also make no guarantee of any particular experience, feeling, result, or outcome at any location we highlight. Any decision you make, including where to travel or live, is entirely your own.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you have permission to share any birth details of another person (such as your partner).

3. Orders, Pricing, and Payment

Prices are shown on the website and are in U.S. dollars. We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.
Because each map is custom-made from the details you submit, it is important that the birth information you provide is accurate. We are not responsible for a map that is affected by inaccurate or incomplete information you provide.

4. Delivery

Our products are delivered digitally to the email address you provide. Delivery is often very fast, sometimes within minutes, and typically no longer than a few days. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Please check your spam folder and add our email address to your contacts. If you have not received your map, contact us at hello@somewherefortwo.com.

5. Refunds

Our refund practices are described in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including the website design, text, graphics, logos, the "Somewhere for Two" name and mark, and the design and layout of the maps, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. When you purchase a map, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive license to use and print it for your own personal, non-commercial use (including giving it as a gift). You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our products or content without our written permission.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by submitting false information, infringing others' rights, attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

8. Disclaimers

The Service and all products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content is accurate or complete. As stated above, our products are for entertainment and inspiration and are not professional advice of any kind.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Somewhere for Two and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Service or any product. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service or a product will not exceed the amount you paid us for that product.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Somewhere for Two from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person, including your submission of another person's birth details without permission.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes become effective when we post the updated Terms with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
