Somewhere for Two

Everything you two are wondering.

So how does this actually work?+

Every planet sat directly over one spot on earth the minute you were born. Those spots draw lines across the world, and you and your partner each have your own set.

Where one of yours crosses one of theirs is a place both your charts agree on. We find those, keep the ones you could actually travel to, and write what each one does for the two of you.

You don’t need to know any astrology. There’s a fuller explanation of the whole thing on the home page.

Do we have to be getting married?+

No. Plenty of couples who do this aren’t engaged and aren’t planning to be. Read the Honeymoon Map as your next big trip, an anniversary, your first proper holiday together, or just the two of you dreaming on the couch on a Tuesday.

Why does our birth time matter so much?+

It’s the one thing that sharpens everything. Your lines are calculated to the exact minute you were born, so an exact time places them precisely and a rough time widens them.

You can still order without it. Give us your best guess and we’ll flag anything that leans on it.

Birth times are easier to find than people expect, though. Your long-form birth certificate usually has it, most US states let you request one online in a few minutes, and a parent or a baby book is the other quick win. Worth the five minutes.

Who actually writes our reading?+

Two different things are happening. Where your places land is not a matter of opinion. We calculate both charts to the minute, and the crossings fall where they fall. Nobody nudges them.

Then the writing: an AI writer turns each place into its page. We built it, wrote the rules it follows and set the voice, and it can only write about the crossings your charts actually produced. It can’t invent a city. Your map is sent automatically, so you’ll read it before we do. If yours lands wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it.

What do we actually receive?+

A digital keepsake, in your inbox, usually within the hour. It opens on a cover with both your names, reads your two charts together, maps the real places where your lines cross, and gives a short warm reason each one belongs to you two.

Print it and frame it at whatever size you like. Nothing ships. The file is the keepsake. There’s a sample on the home page.

What’s the difference between the maps?+

Same two charts, two different questions.

The Honeymoon Map asks where you should go. The places lit up for love and adventure, for the trip you take next.

The Build-a-Life Map asks where you could stay. The same crossings, weighed against decades instead of a long weekend.

The Complete Map is both, side by side. It’s the one most people pick, and the one we’d pick.

Is there a reading just for me?+

Yes. Somewhere for You reads one birth chart and finds the three places where love comes a little easier, or where your work and ideas switch back on, or both.

It answers a different question from a couple map. Your best places on your own aren’t always your best places together, and that overlap is the part only a couple reading goes looking for.

How does it arrive, and can we give it as a gift?+

It lands in your inbox as a private link, usually within the hour and nearly always the same day. The whole thing opens in your browser, and there’s a print button on the last page for the map you frame. Do that bit on a laptop rather than your phone.

Giving it to someone? Pick the gift option and you get two ways to hand it over: email it with a note from you, or a printable certificate to slip inside a card. Either way the couple adds their own birth details whenever they’re ready.

Can we tell you what we’re hoping for?+

Yes. When you order you can tell us what you’re after, warm and beachy, a big city, somewhere near home, and we fold it in. The sky still leads: we start where your two lines speak loudest and let your wishes break the tie when a few places are neck and neck.

The one thing we hold firm on is safety. Ask us to stick to places that are welcoming for LGBTQ+ couples and we won’t send you anywhere else, whatever the charts say.

What if we don’t love it?+

Tell us. If we got a birth detail wrong, miscalculated something, or the file won’t open, we’ll fix it and send it again at no charge. Every map runs through our checks before it goes out. The refund page has the full details, including when a refund applies.
